In the 2016 Lahore bombing, which resulted in many fatalities, the Tariq family arrived at the Lahore hospital with essential supplies, both spiritual and material (the drive from Faisalabad to Lahore takes 2 to 3 hours). I have several moving photos showing Nayab’s sister and mother prayerfully consoling patients, some of whom were severely injured. This photo depicts Nayab with a child who lost both parents in the bombing. Nayab assessed the situation, arranged for the child to be placed with a relative, and provided financial assistance to support the family for many months.
