Authenticity of the Ministry
LET ME TELL you about Nayab and family. This indigenous Christian family has not only supported and continues to wholly support themselves through employment earnings; they have been the primary source of financial support for the mission while also personally doing ministerial work effectively as indigenous Christian can best do. But let me introduce myself enough to show why my character-witness is trustworthy.
MY 87 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE include serving as casework supervisor (Indiana Department of Public Welfare) which involved being a special investigator in child welfare and families disrupted and in need of protection. The work (first as a caseworker and then supervisor) included investigating child abuse, and determining eligibility for assistance. I know how to do a reliable biological sketch. I've also served as clinical counselor in the Alcoholism division of the Indiana Department of Mental Health.
FOR NEARLY 8 YEARS I’ve known Nayab and the family—increasing financial support over those years. A fellow seminarian, Pastor Kurt Johanson, was the first to testify to me about the authenticity of this ministry (I’ve a Bachelor of Sacred Literature, a Master’s Arts Degree, and met requirements for the Bachelor of Divinity). A fellow Christian and friend, Jack Langham, has personally met Nayab and attests to the reliability of this mission. (In today’s social media, a critical person can actually know someone on the other side of the globe better than the next door neighbor.)
THOUGH LIVING IN AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY we can feel comfortable supporting this amazing non-denominational and absolutely non-political work. This indigenous ministry is indeed non-political; never confusing the Kingdom of God and Gospel with politics.
“IT’S A BLESSING OUR PARENTS INVESTED in our education…” Nayab has a Bachelor of Education degree, Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master’s Degree in economics. Her sister Amen has the Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Urdu literature. Their mother was a professional school teacher—until forced into recent retirement without benefits. Mother and daughters now teach and manage the accredited Amazing Grace Christian School.
